Many of you know that I attended a songwriting conference in St. Louis a couple of weeks ago. It was an enriching experience with so many insightful writing tips to last me all year, and then some. There are possibilities that are yet to be revealed in terms of people I met, and the way that the album will go based on the co-writers, producer, and me. Thank you to everyone in the Table Grace team that pulled together to work the café and the catering events, while Matt and I and the girls attended the conference in St. Louis.
Catering is picking up for Table Grace. If you or anyone you know has a need for catering in the coming months, keep us in mind. It assists us in continuing to be Table Grace Café. Also as you consider ways to give back to the community (whether that is you personally, or your church or community) please keep Table Grace in mind. We really are able to operate based on the generosity of every person that is touched by the mission of Table Grace.
I was not able to be at the café for a while due to the Songwriting conference, a catering event for over 250 people, and the Business for Business conference. Today I was back to rehearse, sing and lead the music with a mission, and host the Book study based on Chapter 4 of Barbara Brown Taylor’s book, Learning to walk in the dark. As I was present today in the space that is Table Grace, I was reminded of the reason that I am drawn there over and over again. The Holy Spirit is present in so many ways. People that would never be in the same space are sharing time and space together, depth of pain and joy of the journey of this life is being shared in moments of music, spirituality and togetherness. The food is amazing.
I am so grateful to be a part of this community that is Table Grace. Everyday is truly a miracle of generosity. Thank you for your prayers, presence and participation. I hope you are surprised by the grace of God today!
